Hearing Aid Products and Accessories by Manufacturer
Bluetooth Hearing Aids
Wireless technology has revolutionized the way hearing aids can be connected to the outside world. These miniature hearing computers are programmable to adjust automatically to hearing environments. Cellphone calls can go directly into the hearing aid’s amplifier.
The CapTel phone is a visual telephone with reader that helps people with hearing loss by printing language on a screen as you listen and speak. This services a variety of telephone unit sizes and now features cellphone apps that allow your cell to be a caption reader.
Cell phone accessories
Hearing aids can be equipped with accessories that enable wearers to interact more easily with cellphones. Hearing Aid Compatible phones (HAC) are now available from all manufacturers. HAC means that the phone can contact your hearing aid if the aid has a telecoil. The telecoil inside the hearing aid allows the connection. Some of the devices available to connect to the telecoil include an earhook and a neckloop. They are small wires worn on your person that send a weak signal to the hearing telecoil. As wireless connections, they do not need to be directly connected to your hearing device.
The ReSound hearing aids feature the latest technology and are available in several styles. ReSound products boast high-powered hearing sensitivity with behind-the-ear (BTE) technology. However, ReSound has a hearing aid choice for everyone. LiNX 3D hearing devices feature apps for smart phones and are powerful devices worn behind the ear. The ENZO 2 is the smallest and one of the most powerful BTE hearing aids.
Starkey Hearing Technologies is much more than the hearing aids we produce. We are in the business of connecting people and changing lives. We believe being able to hear the world and the people around us is as essential to the human experience as breathing.
